My sister shared with me and I am so happy that she had a blast!
Way to feel valued in what you have and what you can offer others -

Wow!

Nick Vujicic was a keynote speaker. Please check him out on You tube for inspiration in your life. I truly felt he gave me a hug from stage in a room of 7500 people! Start with the gifts you have while developing new ones.

Blogs, URLS, Feeds... Oh MY!

As scary to me as "Lions, Tigers, and Bears"! are these new and amazing things...
I spent many a frustrated moment trying to install one button on my blog... hahaha. Humility is a virtue and I must have needed some as I am not use to being stumped. I consider myself very well educated and fairly intelligent.

Therefore it is different to be reading English about blogs, url addresses, shortcuts, how to's of copy and pasting RSS 's and feeling like I am studying Greek.
(Which I have done and not felt as backwards.)Too funny!

Any of you in 'my' generation struggling with this learning curve?

I have to say that the term RSS endears itself to me as I can only think of "ROUS's" from The Princess Bride... can anyone translate that for me?
My children most definitely can. ;)
Ironic how childhood movies are imbedded into my day of computer technology just now.

For even One Person it is Worth Sharing -My Thanks!

(I was sharing my thankfulness with my tremendous team and decided to pass it on from my family to yours... anyone anytime may contact me for information. I look forward to visiting with you about overall health.  I do not sell anything, I merely offer free information.)

Share this story... We are saving money and not supporting (China) Walmart products. We have eliminated our household personal care products bill.. My husband is NOW (with 2 years of toxin free household) Diabetes free, blood pressure back to normal, 100+ pounds lighter; full of energy & our marriage is improved.

(There isn't even a pricetag we could place on this new life which we thankfully and humbly experience.)

Financially, I have replaced my income and don't work at the Chiropractor office. My daughter is allergy free. My son is skin allergies free. (those two I attribute to safer laundry and dish products). I have no excema/psoriasis broken open itching and bleeding on my hands after a 3 year fight it took 3 days to heal __and I joyfully know others with similiar experiences.
People spend at Costco, Walmart or the grocery store without comparing what they spend - we all need to actually look at our receipts and compare to that same natural product -challenge them to save all shopping receipts and compare 3 months of what they use to what safer better they should be buying. I don't need to convince anyone - SMART SHOPPERS get this!  (Sunshine emoticon) Plant and Water your personal garden by sharing it and send a Thank You note to those who support U.S. families & U.S. Manufacturing by shopping wiser.
I love to compare my buying to Costco because I like bulk buying deals and I love that I save on groceries with my Costco Wholesale membership but I save health, time, money and beat personal care product prices at Costco with better natural deals. WOW!
Educated Consumers are healthier happier people but we have to be honest with ourselves about our spending habits. Give yourself the information to develop better shopping habits. Affordability and safety equals VALUE.

Sincerely,
Gail

No twins but one healthy baby and MAN AM I SLOW!

Well, I have been missing in action since January 15th. What a crazy life we lead....
To make a very long story short and to get back to important helpful news is my goal here.
We have a beautiful 7th child and are healthy after a surgical delivery. I will post a POST for viewers on that experience on another day. For now I will be happy to be back to blogging and try to resume some healthy and frugal tips on a weekly basis! Thank you for following my blog. If you are as interested in healthy living as I am we will make a fine fit!

TWINS! 2 to 4 weeks to prepare!

I found a blog to assist me in my nervousness about a natural twin delivery since we are probably being blessed with twins in a few short weeks!  If someone else can benefit I thought this would be so good to hear...

 http://5cheeryos.blogspot.com/2009/04/were-having-twins-now-what-help.html

Bless your heart for this blog! God knew I needed to find it. I am in my 35th week of pregnancy and found out Wednesday at my midwife appointment that we are 95% sure there are twins! I go this Wednesday for a comprehensive OB Ultrasound and meet the doctor....  Beginning points. I have had 6 healthy beautiful pregnancies and babies. The first two in a hospital and the last 4 at home with my dear certified midwife. I was devastated to learn I will not get to deliver at home and may not have much control. You have given me the book to read and more hope in my prayers. I keep trusting that God has given us this incredibly special gift and will guide me through it all... but hear so many 'policies' by the medical world that say otherwise. Thank You! Thank You! God is always so good to us and I am VERY healthy for almost term, but I appreciate tips from anyone, quickly. eek!

A New Year with New Opportunities!

Happy 2012 beginning everyone!!

What an amazing time when we all think of where we have been and where we are heading! It can be scary and fun all at the same time. Our resolutions are in front of us as we try to improve our lifestyle, our health, our spiritual or mental well being... Everyone has had years when we remembered, followed through. . . and other years that we maybe regret not finishing our plans well.
Such is life!!
I would personally like to THANK each of you for somehow impacting my life and enriching my experience of knowing / meeting others. What a blessing! To know we are all so uniquely different and special in so many ways!
I would also like to offer to help in any way that I can to enhance your own life somehow.
We have been so encouraged by our 2011 family successes!
Our growth and our children's growth, my husband's complete health turn around, our approaching birth of baby, surviving another poor economic year and much more gave me much to learn and be thankful for.
I would like to offer freely any information that has helped us if you are looking for ways to benefit your family.
Maybe our experiences could be of use to you!

Seize the year for self improvement, most everyone has an experience we have not yet known.

Christmas ideas to boost each other!

This is worth reading, some of this I already do, but there was more great ideas for me and maybe for you!!!
We are all worth helping each other!!!
Christmas 2011 -- Birth of a New Tradition
As the holidays approach, the giant Asian factories are kicking into high gear to provide Americans with monstrous piles of cheaply produced goods --merchandise that has been produced at the expense of American labor. This year will be different. This year Americans will give the gift of genuine concern for other Americans. There is no longer an excuse that, at gift giving time, nothing can be found that is produced by American hands. Yes there is!
It's time to think outside the box, people. Who says a gift needs to fit in a shirt box, wrapped in Chinese produced wrapping paper? Everyone -- yes EVERYONE gets their hair cut. How about gift certificate from your local American hair salon or barber?
Gym membership? It's appropriate for all ages who are thinking about some health improvement.
Who wouldn't appreciate getting their car detailed? Small, American owned detail shops and car washes would love to sell you a gift certificate or a book of gift certificates.
Are you one of those extravagant givers who think nothing of plonking down the Benjamins on a Chinese made flat-screen? Perhaps that grateful gift receiver would like his driveway sealed, or lawn mowed for the summer, or driveway plowed all winter, or games at the local golf course.
There are a bazillion owner-run restaurants -- all offering gift certificates. And, if your intended isn't the fancy eatery sort, what about a half dozen breakfasts at the local breakfast joint. Remember, folks this isn't about big National chains -- this is about supporting your home town Americans with their financial lives on the line to keep their doors open.
How many people couldn't use an oil change for their car, truck or motorcycle, done at a shop run by the American working guy?
Thinking about a heartfelt gift for mom? Mom would LOVE the services of a local cleaning lady for a day.
My computer could use a tune-up, and I KNOW I can find some young guy who is struggling to get his repair business up and running.
OK, you were looking for something more personal. Local crafts people spin their own wool and knit them into scarves. They make jewelry, and pottery and beautiful wooden boxes.
Plan your holiday outings at local, owner operated restaurants and leave your server a nice tip. And, how about going out to see a play or ballet at your hometown theatre.
Musicians need love too, so find a venue showcasing local bands.
Honestly, people, do you REALLY need to buy another ten thousand Chinese lights for the house? When you buy a five dollar string of light, about fifty cents stays in the community. If you have those kinds of bucks to burn, leave the mailman, trash guy or babysitter a nice BIG tip.
You see, Christmas is no longer about draining American pockets so that China can build another glittering city. Christmas is now about caring about US, encouraging American small businesses to keep plugging away to follow their dreams. And, when we care about other Americans, we care about our communities, and the benefits come back to us in ways we couldn't imagine.

THIS is the new American Christmas tradition.
Please share this with others.
This is a revolution of caring about each other and isn't that what Christmas is about?
